Full-Time Design Engineer – Reverse Engineering SolidWorks

Job Description

Candidate will be responsible for reverse engineering and creating SolidWorks 3D models of small plastic parts and assemblies.

Additional roles will be the design of shop fixtures and tooling use in production, along with build cells made from Gemba Pipe as shown in the photos.

A minimum of 2 years of experience with SolidWorks 3D modeling required. Surfacing a plus but not required. Experience using 3D scanners to reverse engineer components is also a plus. Knowledge and experience using metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, etc.) required.

This is an ON-Site position – no freelance or work from home. We will provide all the equipment / PC, software, etc.

Design of plastic parts to be injection molded a plus.

Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
