Qualifications

•Positive and winning attitude
•3 – 5 years of working experience in a fast-paced engineering organization
•Experience with Value Engineering, Should Costing, Cost Reduction tools
•Experience working with 3D design software Creo, SOLIDWORKS
•Demonstrated ability to deliver projects/tasks on schedule
•Practical application of textbook knowledge required
•Effective communication skills (verbal & written)
•Self-Motivated and energetic team player that can demonstrate adaptability and work with limited supervision
•Willingness to learn and develop technical and soft skills
•Ability to work well with Suppliers, Peers, Management, and Cross-Functional Departments
•Proficient with MS Office Suite
•Minimal travel, less than 10

Responsibilities

•Participate in product development activities including engineering studies, feasibility studies, cost estimates, implementation of the standard and non-standard specifications, drawing board layout and interpretation, and development of performance or maintenance requirements
•Execute tests for systems, sub-systems, and components
•Analyze test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives
•Follow all appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs
•Work toward commonality and optimization of products & components to reduce design errors and escapes
•Test models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess operating condition effects
•Produce parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, systems, or work orders/purchase requests
