Job Description

In this role, you will impact the development of mechanical systems by understanding the mechanics of how critical components fit together. You will be an integral part of our design engineering team, contributing to the design and development of innovative mechanical solutions for Heat Transfer, Turbomachinery, and Systems Design. Job functions include, but are not limited to, creating CAD designs and generating engineering drawings for all aspects of high-speed rotating machinery products, heat exchanger products, and/or system packs. Coordinate with multiple customers and establish priorities. Understands the mechanics of how critical components fit together. May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products. You may also be involved in the fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work within multi-disciplinary design collaborations in Turbomachinery, Heat Transfer, and/or Systems design.
  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components using CAD tools (Siemens NX and PTC CREO).
  • Utilize PLM software (Siemens Teamcenter) to manage product data and documentation.
  • Perform fundamental mechanical analysis to ensure product performance and reliability.
  • Support automation tasks, utilizing Python or similar programming languages.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 0-2 years of experience in the mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of CAD software, with Siemens NX being a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of PLM tools, with Siemens Teamcenter being a plus.
  • Understanding of fundamental mechanical analysis principles.
  • Ability to support multiple projects.
  • Willingness to learn and apply new design concepts and methodologies.
