Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will develop, design, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods and support various special manufacturing projects. They will be responsible for supporting multiple manufacturing operations across various groups, buildings, and product forms while partnering with various internal teams to ensure customer requirements are efficiently achieved.

Responsibilities:

  • Energetically take a hands-on approach with manufacturing process improvements
  • Encourage, evaluate, and implement employees’ suggestions for continuous improvement
  • Analyze operations data to guide strategic planning
  • Develop, design, and implement solutions to process and mechanical needs
  • Collaborate with Application Engineering, Machinery Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to generate efficient processes and machinery for ensuring timely product delivery
  • Advocate and implement lean manufacturing principles within the manufacturing environment
  • Provide support with troubleshooting, scheduling, and sourcing for manufacturing operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 3+ Years Experience
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
  • Detailed understanding of mechanical systems
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time, and Process Flow within Manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passionate about problem solving and exploring new solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting experience
  • Self-motivated, adaptable personality and willing to work in fast paced, dynamic environment
