Full-Time SolidWorks Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual with beginner to medium experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support our team. This role requires strong multitasking abilities and proficiency in office software to assist with various drafting, documentation, and administrative tasks. We are also willing to train the right candidate in HVAC and metal fabrication software, including Trimble FabShop.

Hope Power & Industrial Inc. is a specialty manpower resource provider to contractors, industrial facilities, and power generation plants. We have an immediate opening for a SolidWorks / CAD Designer in a sheet metal fabrication shop in Greenville, SC. (Alum., Stainless, & Carbon)

Seeking locals only (there is NO PER DIEM allowance for travel or living expense).

Responsibilities:

• Work with AutoCAD and SolidWorks to assist with fabrication drawings

• Organize and maintain project files using Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat

• Assist in reviewing and updating drawings and documents as needed

• Support project managers with technical and administrative tasks

• Handle multiple assignments and deadlines efficiently

• Learn and develop skills in HVAC and metal fabrication software (e.g., Trimble FabShop)

• Communicate with customers, vendors, and drivers to schedule deliveries or pickups

Qualifications:

• Beginner to medium experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat

• Strong multitasking and organizational skills

• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

• Willingness to learn HVAC and metal fabrication software

• Prior experience in fabrication, drafting, or related fields is a plus

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
