Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing innovative designs that meet client specifications and project requirements. This role requires proficiency in various design software and a strong understanding of mechanical principles. The Designer will collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure that all designs are functional, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed design drafts using SolidWorks.
  • Create 2d and 3d Drawing using Solidworks.

Skills

  • Strong experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and design.
  • assess the performance of designs under various conditions is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • SolidWorks: 5 years (Required)
  • Automotive engineering: 5 years (Required)
  • Mechanical design: 5 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Adrian, MI 49221 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Adrian, MI 49221: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
