Job Description

Entegee is seeking a Mechanical Designer NX with expertise in UGNX for a military/DoD project involving metal structures and electronic packaging. Designs can include ambient temperature and cryogenic piping, vacuum and pressure vessels, structural steel, cold box piping and assembly, helium compression equipment, and cryogen transfer line/distribution systems.

Requirements:

AS degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology

  • Minimum 3 years of mechanical design /engineering experience
  • Must have demonstrated fluency with 3D CAD software design tools
  • Experience in NX CAD and Teamcenter data management required
  • Basic geometric and trigonometric math skills
  • Good communication skills and able to work well in a team atmosphere

Job Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Compliance with ITAR regulations
  • Strong experience with UGNX (recent and updated version)
  • Knowledge of structures, particularly metals (aluminum, steel, higher strength steel)

Preferred Skills:

  • Military/DoD background

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design military shelters using primarily aluminum and some steel
  • Handle electronic packaging tasks within the project

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
