Job Description

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Mechanical Systems Engineer who brings enthusiasm and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll design and commercialize new products and sub-systems while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. We value innovative and creative ideas-yes, even during meetings (where snacks are always welcome). If you enjoy tackling challenges with positivity and a bit of humor, you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Work with Test Engineering and suppliers to establish and validate component requirements, test plans, and reliability targets.
  • Contribute to technical program management, addressing product cost, quality, performance, reliability, and warranty considerations.
  • Communicate project status, priorities, and recommendations, while coordinating with affiliate companies and traveling to external sites as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience in Mechanical or Systems Engineering.
  • Passion for engineering design, analytical modeling, prototyping, testing, documentation, and problem solving.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines and contribute to complex projects.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical fabrication and assembly processes, with a demonstrated willingness to engage directly in build and test activities.
  • Proven ability to contribute effectively within multi-disciplinary, cross-company teams.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Pro-Engineer/PTC Creo or equivalent tools.
  • Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and fundamental principles of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, such as those used in the Toyota Production System (TPS).

Where and When You’ll Work:

  • This is an in-person role located at our Greene, New York office-ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
