Full-Time Mechanical Engineer, Solidworks

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong knowledge of mechanical systems to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the design, testing, and support of engine, hydraulic, and gearbox systems used in large equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects that push the limits of engineering and deliver real-world impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project schedules to ensure the timely completion of engineering tasks.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in design documentation.
• Create detailed mechanical designs using SolidWorks.
• Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards throughout the design process.
• Produce schematics and CAD drawings for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design and integration projects.
• Perform simulations using Simulink to validate design performance.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to support manufacturing operations and improve processes.
• Utilize LabVIEW for data acquisition and control applications in engineering projects.
• Program Arduino for embedded systems development as needed.
• Draft technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and user manuals.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess the structural integrity of designs.

Experience
The successful candidate will have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, and drafting tools.
• Experience with mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with CNC machining techniques is preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
