Full-Time Mechanical Engineer Vehicle Design

We are searching for a Mechanical Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate must like a challenging environment with the opportunities of a broad scope of work, strong problem-solving skills, and skill to effectively communicate with employees in a manufacturing environment. Hours for the position are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

Responsibilities include

• Product design
• Tooling design
• Knowledge of manufacturing production processes.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a four-year university.
• Experience in Computer-Aided Design (SolidWorks) and Finite Element analysis
• Experience with product and tooling design, steel fabrication, robotic welding, fiber reinforced plastics(composites), thermoform plastics (injection molded)
• Electrical design and application in a manufacturing environment.

Motor Trike designs and manufactures three wheeled conversions for cruising and touring motorcycles and performs engineering and manufacturing duties for oil and gas, utility and motor home industries.
Hoppe Industries designs and manufactures fairing and off-road tops containing high performance audio systems.
Harwood designs and manufactures fiberglass replacement parts for vintage cars.
