Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution and communication of Engineering Change Orders for all Aila products, including building and managing Bill of Materials and associated changes.
  • Drive feedback for design improvements based on failure criteria, cost reduction efforts, and quality tracking.
  • Develop and design fixtures in SolidWorks used for assembling/testing Aila Products.
  • Manage and qualify vendors and contract manufacturers, ensuring quality standards are met at Aila-owned sub-tier vendors.
  • Create and develop processes, technical documentation, installation, and work procedures for new and existing products.
  • Influence product design utilizing DFM / DFA / DFT, as well as coordinating and executing PFMEA with all stakeholders.
  • Own compliance and certifications, managing product compliance and factory audits.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hardware quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related role – 3 years experience minimum
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of quality control processes, manufacturing and process controls, and vendor management
  • PCBA manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills needed to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks)
