Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: [Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.] Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer for the Autonomous Maritime Platforms Business, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of advanced autonomous subsea systems and vehicles. We are looking for a dynamic individual to support our mission of delivering cutting edge solutions to our valued customers.

  • Mechanical Engineering Design
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks MCAD and PTC Windchill Software
  • Engineering background in the Undersea Domain

  • Knowledge of autonomous/unmanned undersea vehicle (AUV/UUV) technologies, principles, theories, and concepts
  • Hands-on experience assembling prototype systems
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

USD $77,843.00 – USD $86,358.00 /Yr.
