Full-Time Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. The role of Mechanical Design Engineer will work with project management, procurement, and production to design and deliver quality products that adhere to customer requirements, internal quality standards (ISO 9001:2015), and our production abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of customer requirements and standards and ensure they are being met.
• Develop an understanding of our process and standards and ensure they are being met.
• Creation of submittal drawings for customer approval and purchase orders.
• Design and Development of equipment based on customer requirements, quality requirements, and production ability.
• Evaluation of designs using calculations and simulations.
• Documentation of engineering process, including product design, improvements, changes, and revisions.
• Coordination with internal departments to ensure requirements are met.
• Improvement of design and production process for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work with the team to resolve issues that arise within the scope of the project in a timely and effective way.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks is required.
• Technical and practical experience and knowledge of mechanical engineering.
• Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Communication skills for relaying important engineering information to other departments and customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
