Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in South Fort Worth. This role is hands-on and project-driven, with opportunities to work on a wide range of custom equipment and bulk material handling solutions. You will take ownership of design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, calculate, estimate, and troubleshoot equipment related to bulk material handling systems.
  • Create and manage Bills of Materials (B.O.M.) for projects.
  • Develop nesting and cutting files for laser and water jet cutting machines.
  • Collaborate with sales and customers to define requirements and specifications.
  • Forecast project milestones, ship dates, and manage timelines.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills in manufacturing and design environments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support production and ensure designs are manufacturable.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of design experience required.
  • Proficiency in Creo Parametric and AutoCAD (other CAD software experience is a plus).
  • Structural engineering knowledge required.
  • Previous manufacturing or shop floor experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems independently.
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

  • Competitive pay: $30 – $35 per hour, depending on experience
