As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing the design of gearboxes using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
  • Executing routine analyses of gearboxes using vested methods and technologies and/or contributing to technological developments in teams under supervision.
  • Engaging in customizing projects to client needs and conveying technical information both to clients and to colleagues out of other functions.
  • Delivering products as part of a cross-functional team.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree of Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • Have oral and written communication skills.
  • Have a working knowledge of 3D CAD Software (working knowledge of CREO is desired)
  • Have experience in gear design (desired)
  • Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
