Job Description

Concept Automation Systems, in Carson City, NV, designs and manufactures automated equipment used in packaging, labeling, and product assembly since 1991. We seek a creative, can-do individual who wants to learn and grow into a meaningful role in our manufacturing process.

Job Description:

· Supports experienced design engineers with things like generating parts drawings and creating service documents

· Designs machine parts and assemblies with complexity increasing as experience grows.

· Organizes job assignments for machining, welding, and assembly. Tracking progress and reporting to the supervisor.

· Works with assemblers during machine construction, assisting as needed, creating drawing updates, and assembly notes.

A collaborative environment requires hands-on involvement in bringing new designs to life, so mechanical and electrical aptitude is important. PLC and motion programming experience are a big plus.

Skills Required:

  • SolidWorks: must have the ability to generate manufacturing drawings and exploded views from assembly files.
  • MS Office: Word, Excel, etc.
  • Mechanical aptitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
