Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior/Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to support our engineering team in the design, documentation, and assembly of process equipment systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong drafting skills and a foundational understanding of mechanical systems used in industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and revise detailed mechanical drawings and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Maintain and update engineering documentation, including BOMs, datasheets, and general assembly drawings
  • Assist in the design and layout of process equipment, including pumps, motors, piping systems, tanks, and support structures
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure equipment specifications meet project and safety requirements
  • Support equipment selection, procurement, and assembly processes
  • Participate in troubleshooting and maintenance for mechanical systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 0–3 years of experience in mechanical drafting or process engineering support (internships count!)
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks experience is crucial)
  • Basic understanding of process equipment and piping systems
  • Basic understanding of cutting, welding, and mechanical assembly methods
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic components and circuits
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Background and understanding of GD&T in relation to establishing requirements
  • Familiarity with welding standards and mechanical codes is a plus
  • On-site position (0% Remote)
  • Expected travel less than 10%.
