Full-Time Design Engineer Rhino & Solidworks

Job Description

Vuteq Engineering is a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry and utilizes the support of an internal engineering and fabrication unit to support equipment and tooling requirements. Currently, Vuteq USA, Inc., has an open position for a Design Engineer to be a part of a fast-paced product design, fabrication, and installation team. This position will require hands-on experience using Rhino/Solid Works or compatible engineering design software, with strong attention to detail and creative flair. Project management skills are mandated for this position to ensure the daily demands are met in this role. We are looking for a qualified candidate who is excited about being part of our culture and making an impact with our products.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to communicate with customers in developing and confirming project scope and following the project thru to completion.
  • Ability to draft models and drawings of equipment using Rhino/SolidWorks and/or compatible software.
  • Comply with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.
  • Ensure compliance with the industry’s safety standards.
  • Ensure equipment design is user and environmentally friendly and meets customer expectations.
  • Have an open/creative mind to work around design obstacles and new concepts.
  • Evaluate equipment and tools for improvement/kaizen opportunities.
  • As required, assist with other departmental needs.

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Design Engineer or similar role is required.
  • Proven experience using Rhino/Solid Works software; knowledge of CatiaV.5 is a plus.
  • Good understanding of safety standards and the environmental impact of a design.
  • Excellent oral and written communication (public speaking with presentations).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to comply with and enforce policies, procedures and practices strong work ethic and attendance practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $68,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
  • Overtime

Experience:

  • CAD: 1 year (Preferred)
  • SolidWorks: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Georgetown, KY: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
