Main Responsabilities

  • As a Hydraulics Design Engineer, you will be working at the Enterprise Technology & Engineering Center and will be responsible for designing and modeling hydraulic/hydrostatic/pneumatic systems, components, and routings while considering given design constraints, quality initiatives, cost targets, and specification requirements for different product lines. You will be responsible for project tracking, part ordering, issues resolution, supporting experimental prototype builds, and in addition, you will:
  • Work closely with suppliers, manufacturing,g and cross-functional teams to integrate new/existing components into new product programs
  • Contribute to a design from early concept, through a successful product production launch
  • Collaborate with the test group to develop and execute a test plan for related systems and components, both on-site and remotely
  • Develop and promote part geometry and drawings
  • On-site and remote support to experimental builds and production ramp-up activities

What Skills You Need

•    Strong English skills (speaking and writing).
•    Product Design Engineering experience gained from relevant internships or work experience.
•    Proficiency in Creo.
•    Understanding of fundamental hydraulic engineering principles, able to read basic hydraulic schematics.
•    Experience analyzing data and making sound decisions.
•    Experience troubleshooting and solving issues with technical problem-solving skills.
•    Project management experience leading projects that consist of several team members.
•    Strong communication skills, with the ability to excel on a cross-functional team.
•    Ability to handle adverse situations with a positive attitude in order to find successful solutions.
•    Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in high fast-paced environment.
•    Creativity and Innovation.

What Makes You Stand Out

•    Experience creating Hydraulic Schematics or Electrical Schematics.
•    Experience with Creo, PDM Link and SAP.
•    Training with Creo Piping and Cabling.
•    Familiar with IPS Cable Simulation software.
•    Familiar with Automation Studio software.
•    Knowledge of fluid power calculations.
•    Experience in sheet metal design.
•    Recent GD&T training or knowledge.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
