Job Description

We are hiring for a Composites Plastics Manufacturing Engineer who will be focusing on process development and improvements for a company that supplies to the rail, construction, and heavy truck industries.

They will be responsible for developing processes and tooling for thermoformed products, optimizing productivity and quality while reducing cycle time and costs.

Injection Molding and Thermoforming experience are needed for this job.

Composites Engineer Job Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in composite manufacturing
– Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
– Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles
– Experience with programmable logic controllers and robotics
– Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes
– Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
– Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause analysis experience

Pay: $70,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
