The ideal candidate for this position will have experience of working with Creo Design and Windchill PLM. You will be supporting a Fortune 500 Manufacturer’s R&D division based in Bloomfield, CT. You will have experience with Sheet Metal Design and Engineering for Enclosures. Experience with commercial Breaker or Busbar cabinets, a major plus.

Essential Functions:

· Execute with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analysis, design, test, or integration required to define, and support assigned components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements.

· Work with engineers and other designers on updating BOMs.

· Prepare and present technical data to internal customers.

· Document and communicate results of technical data generated.

· Share engineering information and promote open dialogue.

· Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical engineering, technical design role.

· Proficient with Creo family of software (Pro E, Wildfire).

· Experience with Wind Chill Product Life Cycle Management System.

· Experience with Sheet Metal design for enclosures.

· Able to take existing drawings and modifying them to meet global markets

· Understand mechanical system, and layout drawings.

· Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives.

· Motivated team player, pro-active, results oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $78,183.00 per year
