Kautex is a global company with over 30 plants in 13 countries. As a leading Tier One automotive supplier, we are a pioneer in the design and manufacturing of plastic fuel systems and beyond. We are seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer who will;

What awaits you:

  • Coordinate the fuel system programs, interfacing with product development
  • Investigate and report on potential process and product improvements in the areas of Safety, Quality, and Productivity
  • Implement process and product improvements in the areas of Safety, Quality, and Productivity
  • Establish & maintain process flow diagrams, workplace layouts, FMEA’s and standardize work instructions
  • Coordinate special projects
  • Use project management techniques to plan and manage work
  • Interact with the Product Development Dept. to ensure that all process engineering issues are considered in the product design
  • Approve invoices for equipment delivered and/or work performed by outside vendors
  • Develop and maintain work standards
  • Provide full cooperation and support for Kautex Textron’s continuous improvement program (KBS) as required
  • Support all plans and site activities related to management systems, IATF 16949, and ISO14001
  • Other duties as required

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Technical education (Degree in Engineering or comparable) required
  • Relevant technical knowledge preferred in Mechatronics, Robotics / Automation, Big Data, and Electronics
  • Knowledge in defining process equipment & technologies
  • Product design knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge in Six Sigma and Quality Management Tools
  • Microsoft Office product knowledge required
  • CAD/Solidworks knowledge required
