Education

I am highly self-educated in industrial design, mechanical design, engineering, technology adn more. I have formal education in advanced materials, automotive technologies, and more. I have been hands-on innovating for 35 years of my life, have owned 4 businesses and have been designing and developing products professionally for the last 23 years.
That is a lot of education.

Experience

I’ve been director of design and ceo of Epoch Product Design since 1997. Besides managing the operations of the business, I design and develop award winning products for clients large and small. I’ve designed for just about every industry and I use my results driven, “out of the box” design methodology to exceed clients expectations and hit my target every time. I’m the guy they come to when everyone else fails, or says it can’t be done. If there’s not a material or process to do the job, I create one. I’ve managed teams of up to 30 people and single project budgets up to $300K. I’ve developed IP in RTV and other technologies.

From 1994 to 1999, I was director of design for a medium sized manufacturing company called foarm, inc., where I build the design department from the ground up, interfaced with and solved clients challenges with intelligent solutions. I also advanced their manufacturing capabilities and helped to streamline production processes.

From 1989 to 1994, I was the principal designer at Zany Concepts, where I designed everything from french-fry vending machines, to luggage, to personal watercraft, and even diesel engines. I was hired as a mechanical design and manufacturing consultant by top industrial designers.
