shopPOPdisplays began manufacturing retail display products in 1979. Our goal is to earn the trust and satisfaction of our customers which range from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. From humble beginnings, our company has grown to become a leading global player in the display industry.

With the recent expansion of our online eCommerce site, we have experienced incredible year over year growth. With that growth we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team to maintain that trend. We are seeking a polished, proactive, and professional Mechanical Engineer to support our organization. In this role, you will design and develop a wide variety of products.

THIS POSITION IS IN HOUSE IN OUR WOODLAND PARK, NJ LOCATION – NO REMOTE WORK

Does this sound like you? If so, you will:
Serve as a key member of cross-disciplinary technical teams.
Generate design, detail and assembly drawings for fabrication using SolidWorks
Able to create new concepts and product solutions.
Develop prototypes and test equipment.
Develop detailed designs suitable for mass production.
Collaborate with internal teams, clients and third parties.
Ability to multi task and meet very tight deadlines.

Must have:
BS in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Coursework in SolidWorks, AutoCAD and illustrator.
Successful experience in the development of complex, technical or integrated products.
Solid skills in applied science, mathematics and analytical thinking.
3D conceptualization and component layout of new mechanical designs along with good 2D skills.
Hands-on skills working experience with plastics, wood or metal displays coupled with an instinct for experimentation.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, and skill in analysis and mathematics.
Proficiency with design for manufacturing, product design, precision mechanical systems or the practical arts.
Experience working directly with clients and customers.
