As a leading source of furniture design and technology, we are always on the lookout for new members to join our team. We are currently looking
to fill a full time staff position in our Scarborough Design office.

We are looking for a dynamic jr designer to work as part of the team designing and detailing various projects relating to customized Nienkamper
products. Duties include creating line drawings, renderings, presentation packages and documentation for use by both in house departments, sales
and clients. Designers work under direct supervision of the design manager and are responsible for managing multiple projects at one time.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to:
• interpret documents, sketches and verbal explanation in order to create complex shop drawings that adhere to established product guidelines
• work closely with customer service to determine acceptable solutions for client needs
• document construction details accurately for use by production staff
• create line drawings and rendering packages for review by clients and sales staff
• source hardware and materials to fulfill custom requirements
• create 3D models for presentation and production
• strong communication both verbally and written
• an ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment
• good time management skills
• interpersonal skills that thrive in a studio environment
• a positive attitude
• strong work ethic
• critical thinker

Skills and Educational Requirement:
• Post secondary education in Industrial Design or related field
• 1‐3 years furniture, millwork or related working experience
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCad, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat
