Job Description

Qmadix designs and manufactures accessories for the wireless industry. And as an Industrial Designer for Qmadix, you will be responsible for creating products from the conceptual stages through production. The products you design will not only be beautiful but also functional and cost effective. You will be involved in not only design but also manufacturing of products. You will work closely with the factories and make sure products are progressing on a timely manner. Not only are you a superstar designer, you are also very mechanically inclined. You possess traditional design skills such as sketching, hand rendering and model making but you are also skilled in digital media such as Photoshop rendering, 3D CAD modeling and photorealistic CAD rendering.

What we’re looking for:

A bachelor degree in Industrial Design from an accredited design school.
Strong aesthetics sense and utilize manufacturing constraints in a positive manner.
Excellent sketching and 2D rapid visualization skills.
Excellent knowledge in 3D CAD modeling with strong surfacing skills(Solidworks, ProE, NX, or other similar programs).
Photorealistic CAD rendering(Keyshot).
Proficiency in physical model making, rapid prototyping tools.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
Excellent communication in both verbal and written forms.
Design for manufacturing and extensive working knowledge in plastic injection molding, plastic materials and finishes(CMF).
Well organized with a high attention to detail.
Able to multitask, juggle multiple projects, and work efficiently under tight timelines
Follow trends and news in the wireless industry.
Self starter.
3+ years of related work experience but will consider higher level applicants from same industry.
