Job Description

Summary
Responsible for managing the assignment, tracking, and scope definition for creative services across all markets, creative digital content creation and 3d environmental design support, with additional responsibilities including on-site coordination as needed. Although the following is a comprehensive list, job responsibilities may fluctuate due to company requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Work with clients and Moss internal teams to discern project scope and design intent, and project execution plan accordingly.
• Manage all project facilitation with outsourced designers
• Responsible for designer scheduling, project hour tracking and reporting, managing workflow processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Use creative judgment to translate client’s design intent into environmental designs, subject to review and approval.
• Execute 3d Max Renderings and After Effects Digital Compositions for client projects as needed.

Specific Duties
• Communicate with clients to develop creative design solutions.
• Partner with Technical Designers on fabrication plans.
• Act as design representative for Moss at instructional initiatives as assigned.
• Attend client meetings as needed to establish design criteria and project goals.
• Collaborate with Moss design team to provide feedback to product development.
• Present and illustrate ideas and solutions via 3D renderings, elevations, floor plans, sketches, photo references, animations and slideshows as assigned.
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with Estimating and Tech teams on trouble shooting.
• Collaborate with design team to conceive, develop and illustrate refined ideas for Sales and Marketing initiatives including online tools, presentations and Moss tradeshow booths.

Reporting and Administration
• Position reports to the Director of Design
• Record all billable hours, expenses and project costs by project in system provided.
• Utilize and support development of data base and design archive

Candidate Qualifications
• Competent in all phases of design, including: concept development, sketching, rapid prototyping, After Effects, and 3D Max computer models and renderings.
• Competent with all creative presentation tools from concept sketches to 3D renderings and animations
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience and/or knowledge in the following disciplines: Retail Store Design and Merchandising including shop concept development – Tradeshow Exhibit Design – Event and Experience Design– Branded Environmental Design –Broadcast Design
• Great communication skills both written and oral.
• Minimum Bachelor Fine Arts Degree (in Architectural or Design related field of study)

• Regular attendance and presence at Moss required.
• Job may require weekend and evening work.
• Able to complete tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail.
• Able to consistently meet deadlines, completing tasks as previously defined.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely; both verbally and in writing. Deferring to verbal whenever possible.
• Must be a self-starter with a positive and hardworking with a “CAN DO” attitude, and enjoy a fast-paced, environment.
• Must have proven ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all aspects of staff and company information.
• Must have a high level of ethics, integrity, and reliability, having a strong grasp of both “big picture” and “detail” issues.
• Travel to customer meetings and installations as projects require.
