Design Engine is Hiring!!

Job Description

WHO WE ARE
Design Engine is Hiring – Since 1994, DESIGN-ENGINE, headquartered in a Chicago West Loop loft overlooking our beautiful downtown skyline, has been conducting Computer-aided Design (CAD) software training for mechanical engineers and industrial designers for companies all over the world. Our specialized and focused training courses use techniques and instructor’s attitudes to awaken and develop the minds of the students – unlike students left to a self-paced or book-read learning environment used by standard instruction classes. In addition, our training courses have been meticulously developed, matured, and scrutinized by industry leaders and clients who help us stay abreast of what skills are needed in the workplace.

WHAT WE NEED
Our training techniques are widely praised for not only teaching the software, but also for fostering a mind set that incorporates all elements of design and engineering to enhance client capabilities and help them excel within their industries. We have successfully trained clients in many industries for companies including Caterpillar, Harley Davidson, Hoover, John Deere, Motorola, NASA, and RubberMaid.  DESIGN-ENGINE is seeking instructors to deliver high-impact Computer-aided Design (CAD) software training courses to our clients in:

–  Pro/Engineer –  MathCAD –  Maya
–  Pro/Surface –  MatLAB –  ALIAS
–  Creo –  Unigraphics –  Rhino
–  Creo Surfacing –  Windchill –  Zuken
–  Creo Simulate –  Teamcenter –  Adobe
–  Solidworks –  Catia –  Illustrator
–  Ansys Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
–  Part Design & Manufacturing

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The instructor will strive to empower students and organizations to significantly increase their design and engineering capabilities by retaining higher software comprehension through more innovative and comprehensive training challenges – instructor needs to be more about teaching the technique and less about the software. She/He will review objectives with the class, analyze training requirements, plan, coordinate and deliver high-impact Computer-aided Design (CAD) software training. This is an important position that requires excellent listening, communication and problem solving skills. She/He encourages a culture of learning that values mutual responsibility and respect, life-long learning and ethics as well as personal and professional development. The three types of training techniques (auditory, visual, and kinesthetic) must be delivered in a professional manner and in an environment which is conducive to innovation, positive thinking and expansion according to Design Engine established training standards and procedures.
